48 ESC Region 12 classes will be connecting with 10 other states, Alberta, Canada, and a school in the U.K.

1. Log in to registration system at RAP Log-in
2. Complete test calls (Misty and Lola check with Roxanne about ISDN connections)
3. All bridged calls will dial 10.12.100.100 the day of the connection.
4. Be sure to have contact numbers handy for the schools that you are connecting to...of course, you know our numbers!
5. Make sure your teachers have made contact with their partners. Any time or date changes must be negotiated ASAP.
6. I am working on the press release...watch for it this week!

2. Shane will build conferences from the online posted schedule.
3. Any test calls need to be completed ASAP with Shane. No test calls after 2/23.

Communications--email, newsletters, signatures, and blogs

This is critical to have up-to-date signatures, etc as we start working outside our state and country.

1. Make sure your email keeps the previous email so that the conversation can flow.
2. Make sure you have a complete email signature and that you identify your city and STATE also.
3. Read the blog. www.edlink12.net/vcrox (Use reader at Bloglines)
4. Send me photos and comments from teachers and students.

The Jazz Project

This is the training where we connect with sites in other states and use videoconferencing, Moodle, blogs, wikis, and all those new, collaborative technologies to create curriculum connections for the next school year. This training meets Target Tech in the staff development section of the StarChart.
